Scott Lane returns to the Seattle Stars FC for his second season in 2020  as the goalkeeper coach. In his 2019 season, Scott helped the Stars to seven shutouts and Drew Moulton to set a Stars record with four shutouts.

Beyond his time with the Stars, Lane spent six years with NAIA Northwest University as the men’s and women’s goalkeeper coach.

In addition to his duties at Northwest, Lane is head soccer coach at The Overlake School. He had previously served as the JV Head Coach at Overlake from 2014-17.

He guided The Overlake School to championships in 2017 and 2018, earning WSSCA Coach of the Year honors in 2018. He also has a pair of ECL Boys’ Soccer Coach of the Year honor to his credit.

Lane was a member of the Northwest soccer team as a goalkeeper after a year at Edmonds Community College. He earned All-Region Status at ECC.

Lane, who hails from Snohomish, earned his bachelor’s degree in biology from Northwest in 2014 and a CMA for Lake Washington Institute of Technology in 2017.
