Justin Izutsu joins the Seattle Stars FC for his fourth season (2017-Present) in 2020. During his time with the club, Justin has helped the program to a 30-2-0 record with three regular season shields and two NWPL championships (three appearances). The Stars have also had eight players sign professional contracts during his time with the program and have won two NWPL Coach of the Year awards (2017 and 2018).
Izutsu has been coaching at Cascade Premier Soccer Club in Renton, Wash, for over 10 years and has been the club Director of Coaching the past six years.
At the high school level, Izutsu coached Kentlake High School Girls’ Varsity soccer team for three seasons, leading them to their first playoff game in six seasons, in 2017.
Izutsu has a USSF C License and recently took the Advanced National Diploma Course with United Soccer Coaches. He has a passion for the game, player development, coaching development, competing, adapting and evolving as the game continues to move forward.
